A: From Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park & Ngorongoro Crater, back to Zanzibar
DAY 1
Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Pick up from your hotel in Zanzibar, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha Airport. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transfer to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drives with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Octagon Lodge
Tarangire National Park:
The majestic baobab tree, “The Tree of Life”, stretches its arms over a savannah of red earth, the Kori Bustard (the world’s heaviest flying bird) skims the skies, mobs of elephants roam the land: This is Tarangire! Tarangire is probably one of the least visited of the northern Tanzania game parks, and retains a real air of undiscovered Africa, particularly in the south of the park. The sun might leave the land scorched during dry season but resident animals know that there is always water by the Tarangire River that meanders through the park. Watch as herds of elephants – reportedly one of the largest concentrations of elephants anywhere in the world – scratch the dry river bed for underground streams!

DAY 2
After early breakfast, transfer to Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing with picnic lunch. Later, drive back to Arusha and proceed to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar and when you arrive Zanzibar you will get transfer to your hotel. Breakfast and lunch provided. Drinking water will be provided every day per person
Ngorongoro Crater: This is your prelude to visiting the largest unbroken caldera in the world! Nearly three million years ago, a mighty volcano erupted and collapsed on itself to form what is known today as Ngorongoro Crater, the “8th Wonder of the World”. It is believed that before the epic eruption, the volcano would have towered over Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the Ngorongoro Crater offers a unique biosphere which has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. Ringed with towering walls and sheltering forests, grasslands, fresh springs and a large soda lake, it shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth

B: From Zanzibar to Tarangire & Lake Manyara National Park.
Day 1:
Pick up from your hotel in Zanzibar, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha Airport. Upon arrival in Arusha 9am you will be met by your safari guide and driven to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy the wildlife. Overnight at Tarangire National Park is almost 3000 sq km in size and is probably best known for its huge numbers of elephants and baobab trees. The name of the park comes from the Tarangire River which crosses through the park. Tarangire is especially spectacular during the dry season (June – November) as wildlife concentrations rival that of the Serengeti (since enormous populations of elephants and other animals are drawn to the Tarangire River as their only source of water). With its varied habitats and permanent water in the Tarangire River the park is home to over 2000 elephants and 500 bird species

Day 2:
After breakfast, you will be picked up by your safari guide and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. For a game drive. Later on you will drive back to Arusha and proceed to Kilimanjaro International airport for your flight back to Zanzibar. Manyara National Park: Lake Manyara National Park is located just outside the Ngorongoro Area Conservation Area gate. The majority of the land area of the park is a narrow strip running between the Gregory Rift Wall to the west and Lake Manyara, an alkaline or soda lake, to the east. It is famous for its population of flamingoes, which migrates to the park seasonally depending on lake conditions. Lake Manyara offers a great introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife, with over 400 bird species documented to have been spotted in the park. In addition to flamingoes, other big aquatic birds can be spotted here seasonally, including storks, pelicans and cormorants.
